SPL-LABMAT s.r.o. – iron-based RM search tool

Static HTML search tool for currently available iron-based reference materials by chemical composition and material form.

Form: ?
How to search?
  • ≥ 0 for an element shows all materials where the element is listed.
  • Blue highlighted element ranges in the input area are recalculated from the currently found materials.
  • Click an element name in the results table to sort the found materials by concentration.
  • The ~ mark indicates an informative value.
  • Fe (calc.) is an auxiliary calculated value and is therefore shaded in grey. Limiting the Fe concentration can be used as an approximate filter by degree of alloying.
  • Using approximately C < 2.1 % can help distinguish steels from cast irons as an orientation guide. Values C > approx. 2.1 % are subtly highlighted for approximate distinction of cast irons and pig irons.
  • Chips include chips, chopped wire, powder, or a similar divided/loose form.
  • Solid / chips means that the material is available in both forms.
  • Use Ctrl + mouse wheel to zoom the page in or out.
Results are shown below.
Element filters (≥ and ≤ fields; empty fields are ignored)

Note: Only currently available materials are included. The search updates automatically while typing. Blue highlighted element ranges in the input area are recalculated from the currently found materials. The material form is shown in the results as Solid, chips, or Solid / chips. A certificate link is available for each material. C values above approx. 2.1% are subtly highlighted for approximate distinction of cast irons and pig irons.
